Trump Says He Was Never Told About Threat

The explanations given by Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle seem to be evolving every day.

As I write this report, she is telling a different version to Congress, knowing that if she lies under oath, she could be charged.

Prior to what we had been told before, during a recent interview with Fox News' Jesse Watters, Trump stated the Secret Service never warned him about the threat.

He Didn't Know

We know the Secret Service was aware of the shooter about three hours before Trump ever took the stage.

That same individual was officially considered an active "threat" with more than enough time to stop him before the shots were taken.

When Jesse Watters asked Trump if he was aware of any threat, Trump responded, "Nobody mentioned it. Nobody said it was a problem.

"[They] could've said, 'Let's wait for 15, 20 minutes, 5 minutes.' Nobody said…I think that was a mistake."

Trump later added, "When you have Trumpers screaming, the woman in the red shirt, 'There's a man on the roof,' and other people, 'There's a man on the roof and who's got a gun,'…that was quite a bit before I walked on the stage. And I would've thought someone would've done something about it."

Trump is right, and there is no way the Secret Service ever should have let him go on stage with an active threat against him at the rally.

Cheatle has already repeatedly lied in explaining what happened as if the other agencies where she was pointing the finger would take responsibility for her mistake.

Now, more than ever, I am convinced that Cheatle must not only be fired but she must also be charged in the same manner as the Chief of Police for Uvalde's school district.
