Trump Says Confusing Obama and Biden Was ‘Sarcastic Joke’

Donald Trump must not have been able to sleep on Friday night because he went off on a late-night rant on Truth Social.

It was either that or the person running Trump’s Truth Social account got fed up listening to reports that Trump has lost a step, and decided to fire back for the boss.

Regardless, Trump’s Truth Social account blew up Friday night on everything from Megyn Kelly to a gaffe Trump made, which he now says was on purpose.

It Was Sarcasm

After the presidential debate, Megyn Kelly raised some ears when she stated that Trump has lost “multiple steps,” referring to the great age debate between Biden and Trump.

Trump’s age has started to become part of the conversation because of a few gaffes that Trump has made while speaking, the most infamous one being confusing Biden and Obama.

As this started to get some attention in the media several weeks ago, Trump was interviewing with Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade, who politely suggested that Trump was just being sarcastic.

Trump used that angle to defend himself against the Megyn Kelly statement, posting, “I never confused Crooked Joe Biden with Barack Obama, except in the form of a sarcastic joke, which the Fake News knows and fully understands. Sarcasm is a very dangerous thing for me to use!!!”

Trump also addressed the criticism that was aimed at the financial expert his team brought in to testify on his behalf, posting, “Great day in the Rigged Court. Financial Expert was fantastic, exposing the Corrupt A.G. as a FRAUD!”

Most legal experts dismissed the “expert's” testimony as nothing more than a hired gun who only reiterated the talking points that Trump’s Defense team wanted the court to hear.

Needless to say, leftist outlets are already tearing into Trump for the late-night rant, accusing him of being mentally unstable.

As I stated before, if I were on his legal team, I would take his phone, as he only gives the left more fodder to use against him every time he, or whoever is running his accounts, posts something on Truth Social.

I have to admit, I am starting to wonder if those posts are crafted by Trump’s X guy, Alex Bruesewitz, who seems to have a very similar tone on X that Trump has on Truth Social.
