Blake Masters has been trailing Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ) from the outset.
However, over the last month, he has closed ground.
He is also coming off a stellar debate performance, so the time is now to hit ads and take advantage of that momentum.
Rather than add money to his campaign, Senator McConnell (R-KY) has moved money elsewhere, much to the chagrin of Donald Trump.
Pay Up
Trump stated, “The Old Broken Crow, Mitchell McConnell, is authorizing $9 Million Dollars to be spent in order to beat a great Republican, Kelly, instead of $9 Million Dollars that could be used for Blake Masters, and other Republicans, that with this money would beat their Democrat opponent.”
I know I keep harping on this, but Trump’s main PAC is still flush with cash, with the last reports showing more than $100 million on hand.
Trump can slam McConnell for not backing Masters, and he is right, but Trump should be ponying up money as well.
Very little, if any, of the money from Trump’s main PAC has gone to support candidates (other than the cost of rallies).
The lion’s share of the money has paid PAC staffers and Trump’s legal bills.
Rest assured, had people known that is where the $250 million was going, I doubt they would have been so generous with their money.
