Trump reverses Biden crackdown on lightbulbs and dishwashers

Joe Biden made many disastrous decisions during his four years in the White House, but Donald Trump is already working hard to replace those mistakes with policies that actually make sense.

President Donald Trump is ordering the immediate reversal of Biden-era green energy regulations on household appliances and the reinstatement of environmental orders issued under his first term, Fox News reports.

During his term, former President Joe Biden issued stringent climate standards on various household appliances such as gas stoves, washing machines, and dishwashers.

Despite Joe Biden doing this to appease environmentalists, energy experts and manufacturers warned that Biden's policies "could lead to more expensive alternatives that are far less effective than current models."

Donald Trump is working hard to undo the mistakes that Biden made, and he's calling on the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), led by former Representative Lee Zeldin, to help him out.

Trump wants to undo Biden's climate mandates as soon as possible and return to "common sense standards."

"I am hereby instructing Secretary Lee Zeldin to immediately go back to my Environmental Orders, which were terminated by Crooked Joe Biden, on Water Standards and Flow pertaining to SINKS, SHOWERS, TOILETS, WASHING MACHINES, DISHWASHERS, etc., and to likewise go back to the common sense standards on LIGHTBULBS, that were put in place by the Trump Administration, but terminated by Crooked Joe," Trump wrote on social media.

"I look forward to signing these Orders," Trump continued. "THANK YOU!!!"

Republican lawmakers have already started working to modify Biden's green energy standards for appliances.

Stephanie Bice, a Representative from Oklahoma, introduced a joint resolution of disapproval against the standards for coolers and freezers that were set to go into effect in February 2025.

Gary Palmer, a Representative from Alabama, introduced a resolution that would block Biden's ban on water heaters.

Common sense has been missing from our federal government for far too long.

Luckily, Donald Trump is working hard to bring it back.
