Trump Predictions for 2025

This week, Donald Trump was tripping the life fantastic at Mar-a-Lago, throwing a massive New Year’s Eve bash that was packed with A-listers.

Trump was seen dancing the night away, and when YMCA came on, one of Trump’s favorite songs, he and Elon Musk were caught on video doing the Trump Shuffle.

Trump also made some predictions for the upcoming year.

Big Year Ahead

As Trump entered the party, walking the red carpet with Melania, he was asked about the upcoming year.

Trump responded, “Just a great year, I think we're gonna do fantastically well as a country. We're gonna bring it back. It has to be brought back. People are not respecting our country very much and they're gonna respect us a lot.”

Trump also commented on the work of his transition team so far, stating, “I think a lot of progress has been made over the last five weeks. It's been pretty amazing when you look at what's happened.”

Trump has also been taking a lot of heat about his support of the comments made by Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy regarding H-1B visas.

When asked why he switched his position, Trump responded, “I didn't change my mind. I've always felt we have to have the most competent people in our country.”

That, however, is not exactly true, but it is a bit complicated.

When Donald Trump was in office, he blasted the program and called it unfair to hard-working Americans.

However, Trump's organization is staffed with quite a few H-1B visa recipients.

In fact, several years ago, when Trump was posting for seasonal help, Mar-a-Lago reportedly had 145 positions open, and 144 of them were reportedly filled with H-2B visa workers.

Trump has clearly had one stance to play to this base and another stance when it comes to his actual business.

A significant portion of his base was not happy about the support for the visa program, so it will be very interesting to see how all this plays out over the next few weeks and months after Trump takes office.
