Mr. Trump, what are you thinking?
I ask this question because while I agree with the overall sentiment of a recent Trump post on Truth Social, he had to know his words would create outrage.
Not just any outrage, by the way, but the accusations of him being a racist are now fully reloaded with gasoline.
Why?
I take a lot of heat for saying that Ron DeSantis should probably be the nominee for MAGA to move forward in 2024.
It is for reasons such as this.
Trump is under the microscope in a big way, so why put something out there that can even have a scent of racism attached to it?
The moment Trump made his post, the attacks started...
This isn’t some crazy person on the internet, this is the GOP front-runner for President if the Party doesn’t wake up & demand better. pic.twitter.com/JYcRYyI2qR

Now, you guys know I despise McConnell and do not have a high opinion of his wife, but in this day and age, Trump has to know you cannot say something like that without massive pushback and allegations of racism.
Plain and simple, we cannot afford this nonsense so close to the midterm elections.
This will hurt Republicans, especially those supported by Trump, in this election.
Do you think Trump went too far with this tweet or do you think it is much ado about nothing?
