House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) will not even publicly say Donald Trump’s name.
It would not have been a surprise to see Trump sit on his hands and not comment on the attack against her husband, Paul Pelosi.
Trump did address it, however.
Terrible
Trump touched on the attack during an interview with Americano Media.
He stated, “With Paul Pelosi, that’s a terrible thing, and with all of them, that’s a terrible thing.”
He then offered up the state of affairs in Democrat-run cities.
Trump continued, “Look at what happened to San Francisco generally.
“Look at what’s happening in Chicago. It was far worse than Afghanistan.”
Trump also commented on the controversial legislation passed in Illinois to eliminate cash bail (it goes into effect next year).
He stated, “These people are crazy.
“They’re gonna release stone-cold killers from jails, nobody knows why.
“I mean, they need room, or something.”
While Donald Trump seemed sincerely upset about the attack, that was not the case with his son, Don Jr.
His namesake was tweeting jokes about the attack, not really doing Republicans any favors in the process.
Every time he opens his mouth, he gives Democrats more ammunition to use against conservatives.
Junior needs to realize that the media and Democrats are looking for any reason possible to blame these attacks on conservatives, so joking about it is not really smart with his profile.
