Trump Outraged After Judge Declines Trump to Attend Supreme Court Hearing

Donald Trump did not have a good day in court on Monday.

This was the first day of jury selection, as well as Merchan ruling on a special request made by Trump.

Trump was hoping to miss a few days of court for other obligations, but Merchan was not having it.

You Cannot Go

Trump has a big Supreme Court hearing coming up next week regarding presidential immunity.

The ruling by the Supreme Court will settle Trump’s fate in several of these cases, so Trump clearly wanted to attend.

With the date being so close to the start of this trial, Judge Merchan stated that Trump could not attend and would be required to be in his courtroom.

Trump had also asked Merchan to allow him a day off to attend Barron’s upcoming high school graduation, but Merchan was non-committal, saying he would have to see where the trial stood before making that call.

That led to Trump blasting Merchan on Truth Social, writing, “In Additional [sic] to being prohibited from attending my son Barron’s High School Graduation, I have just learned that the highly biased Judge in the Soros 'appointed' D.A. Alvin Bragg’s Witch Hunt Case, will not allow me to attend the historic PRESIDENTIAL IMMUNITY argument in front of The United States.

“This shows great disdain and disrespect for our Nation’s Highest Court, especially for a topic so important as Presidential Immunity, without which our Country would never be the same!”

If Merchan does not allow Trump to attend the graduation, he has to know that will only give Trump fodder to use in fundraising for his campaign, so I believe he will give in at the last minute.

I am sure he will make Trump sweat a bit, but there is no way that Merchan wants to fuel Trump’s campaign, so I believe that as the date gets closer, Merchan will tell Trump he can go.
