Trump open to pardoning Hunter Biden: 'I wouldn't take it off the books'
President Joe Biden is likely quite surprised by the latest news surrounding former President Donald Trump.
According to Trump, pardoning the president's son, Hunter, is something Donald may be open to.
Based on all of the talk about locking up Trump coming out of Joe Biden's mouth, Joe HAS to realize that this makes him look like a small, pathetic man.
Trump is showing that he's a big enough person to possibly move past personal grudges, but Joe Biden is not. When Trump sat down for an interview with radio host Hugh Hewitt, the question was raised of Trump possibly pardoning Hunter Biden should he become president.
While Trump did not give Hugh a straight “yes” or “no,” he did say he “wouldn’t take it off the books.”
Even Trump himself pointed out the difference between the way he does business compared to the Biden family.
“See, unlike Joe Biden, despite what they’ve done to me, where they’ve gone after me so viciously, despite what — and Hunter’s a bad boy. There’s no question about it. He’s been a bad boy. All you had to do is see the laptop from hell — but I happen to think it’s very bad for our country,” Trump said.
Trump did not stop there, referencing his grace with former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
“I could have gone after Hillary. I could have gotten Hillary Clinton very easily. And when they say lock her up, whenever they said ‘lock her,’ you know, they’d start, 30,000 people, ‘lock her up, lock her up.’ What did I do? I always say take it easy, just relax. We’re winning. Take it easy. Take it easy,” Trump said.
“I could have had her put in jail. And I decided I didn’t want to do that. I thought it would look terrible. You had the wife of the president of the United States going to jail. I thought it would be very bad if we did that. And I made sure that didn’t happen, OK? I thought it would be bad,” he added.
At the end of the day, liberals make Trump out to be an evil, vindictive monster.
In reality, Trump is right -- he COULD have gone after Hillary, and he did not.
Regardless of whether you agree with the decision to pardon Hunter Biden, you have to admit the fact that Trump is willing to consider pardoning him is PROOF that he is not the bad guy liberals make him out to be.
Sure, Trump might need to be tough on liberals who broke the law, but he seems more willing than the Biden administration to try to be fair.
