Trump: Never Asked Jared or Ivanka to Join Campaign

On Trump’s latest campaign, his daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner will not be playing roles.

From the interviews I have seen, that was their mindset from the outset.

Yet, reports surfaced after Tiffany’s wedding that Trump was begging them both to join his team.

Trump just responded, saying the complete opposite is actually true.

Not Happening

The Post published a report after the wedding from an anonymous source.

The source stated, “Trump thought he could convince Ivanka this weekend to come back and campaign for him as she was the most requested speaker after the president himself last time around… but so far she’s resisting his entreaties and holding firm, as is Jared.

“They both feel they got burned in Washington and don’t want to go back and expose themselves and their children to another bitter campaign.”

We know that Trump is not really happy with Kushner and had to hear the grumblings about Ivanka’s influence, so I find it hard to believe that he was begging them both to come back.

I might buy him asking Ivanka, but there is no way I see him wanting Jared back again.

In response to the report, Trump stated, “Contrary to Fake News reporting, I never asked Jared or Ivanka to be part of the 2024 Campaign for President and, in fact, specifically asked them not to do it – too mean and nasty with the Fake & Corrupt News and having to deal with some absolutely horrendous SleazeBags in the world of politics, and beyond.

“There has never been anything like this ‘ride’ before, and they should not be further subjected to it.

“I ran twice, getting millions more Votes the second time (RIGGED), & am doing it again!”

In addition to all this drama, New York Magazine had reported that the meeting that Trump had with Kanye West and white nationalist Nick Fuentes did not sit well with Jared.

Since then, Kushner has reportedly taken himself completely out of the picture, not even wanting to be a go-between for those trying to reach out to his father-in-law.

That must have made for an awfully fun Christmas.
