Trump Meets with Royals After Notre Dame Ceremony
Donald Trump created a royal buzz this weekend when pictures surfaced of the president-elect lounging with Prince William.
The future king and future president were seen chatting several times, so I would imagine the leftists in both countries are having a fit right now.
That is especially true since Jill’s meeting with William got pushed due to William’s arrival delay due to the weather.
Sorry, Jill
Jill Biden was on hand for the big re-opening of the Notre Dame Cathedral, traveling to France as Biden’s rep.
As noted above, Jill was also supposed to meet with William, but Trump appeared to take precedence for the future King, as Trump’s meeting was not pushed.
Trump was seen chatting with William in a private room and the two were also seen chatting as the crowd entered for the big event.
At one point, Trump was seen chatting with Jill at the event, and the liberal horde could not get over how pleasant the interaction appeared.
Some even suggested that Joe has reason to be jealous of the way that she was staring at Trump, but I digress.
On meeting William, Trump stated, “Great man this one. He’s going to do a fantastic job.”
Kensington Palace described the meeting as “warm,” adding, “The pair discussed a range of global issues but focused on the importance of the UK/US special relationship. President Trump also shared some warm and fond memories with The Prince about the Late Queen for which [His Royal Highness] was extremely grateful.”
When Trump was later asked about the meeting, he stated, "I asked him about his wife, and he said she's doing well.
"I also asked about his father, and he said his father is fighting very hard. He loves his father, and he loves his wife, so it's a sad situation.”
Trump has always had a good relationship with the Crown, and I suspect this time around will be no different.
As some people observed, William seemed almost giddy to be there with Trump, so I don’t expect any hostilities once the crown changes hands again.
