Trump Lavish New Year’s Event Features Vanilla Ice

Donald Trump’s New Year’s Eve party at Mar-a-Lago always draws both criticism and praise.

Trump supporters think they are the greatest parties ever, while his critics always seem to pan them for one thing or another.

This year, Vanilla Ice was the headliner, with a surprise guest of Michelangelo, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, joining him on stage for a song.

The Party

According to reports, it was Tiffany Trump and Lara Trump, the wife of Eric Trump, who were tasked with putting on the big party this year.

All of the Trump women in attendance were decked out in designer dresses, but there were some notables who were missing.

First and foremost, Melania was once again noticeably absent, with Donald Trump telling everyone at the party that she was unable to attend because she was away tending to her sick mother.

In the pictures I have seen from the party so far, neither Barron nor Donald Trump Jr. seemed to be at the party.

Also missing was Ivanka Trump, who has been putting distance between herself and her father ever since Trump left office. She has made it very clear she would not serve in another administration, nor will she be campaigning for her father.

Lara Trump, who had been in the headlines recently for her single, was wearing a plunging neckline dress designed by Oscar G Couture, who also designed the dress worn by Tiffany Trump.

It was rather amusing watching the video of Trump while Vanilla Ice was performing, as the rest of the room was throwing their hands up, while Trump stood behind his chair with that stern look on his face that has become his trademark since the arrest in Fulton County…

When Trump addressed the room, in addition to explaining Melania’s absence, he also noted that he would be hitting the ground hard in early-voting states, with Iowa and New Hampshire the first on the calendar.

Trump ended his speech, telling the room, “We are going to have a great 2024. We are going to make America great again.”

Trump has several appeals pending for the federal cases brought against him by Special Counsel Jack Smith, Fulton County DA Fani Willis, and Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg. He also has to return to court in a few days for closing arguments for the civil suit brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James.

Between the courtroom and the campaign trail, Donald Trump is going to be quite busy in 2024.
