Trump Goes to Georgia to Hand Out Relief Supplies
Donald Trump just landed a major blow against both Harris and Biden.
While Joe Biden was in Delaware hanging out on the beach and Kamala Harris was begging for dollars, Donald Trump was in Georgia.
Trump showed up with trucks full of supplies, putting Harris and Biden on the defensive.
The Optics
There is a thing called optics that Joe Biden has never worried about.
For instance, when you have several states being ripped apart by a hurricane, you may want to stick around DC or head down there to check things out.
Instead, Biden headed back to Delaware to get another beach weekend in before the winter hit.
Harris… well, she was at a high-priced fundraiser in Los Angeles at the J.W. Marriott.
Trump spent his time in Valdosta, GA, stating, "I've come to Valdosta with large semi-trucks, many of them, filled with relief aid. A tanker truck filled up with gasoline, a couple of big tanker trucks filled up with gasoline, which they can't get now. And we'll be working to distribute it throughout the day.”
Harris cut her West Coast swing short and headed back to DC, but not before doing a photo-op and posting it on her social media, pretending to talk to FEMA.
Biden was asked about not being in DC, and he snapped on the reporter, insisting that he was on the phone for all of two hours each day coordinating relief efforts.
Then it was announced that Biden would be heading to North Carolina on Wednesday to tour the areas impacted by the damage.
Harris also committed to go, saying that she would get there as soon as it was possible.
This is why Trump’s childish attacks get me so upset. If he would just stick to issues like this and hammer Harris on policy, this race would be over.
This should have been a monster win for Trump, but it was tempered by some of the other stuff he did and said over the weekend.
Even so, Trump gets the edge, and he clearly has both Biden and Harris on the defensive right now.
