Trump unleashes furious online rant at NY judges

New York Judge Juan Merchan may have indicated that Donald Trump is not likely to be facing any jail time, but Donald is furious that the sentencing in his New York hush money case is happening at all.

In a series of posts online, Donald Trump proclaimed his innocence and called Juan Merchan "corrupt" for the way he handled Donald Trump's criminal trial.

Trump called the charges against him "made up."

"I never falsified business records. It is a fake, made up charge by a corrupt judge who is just doing the work of the Biden/Harris Injustice Department, an attack on their political opponent," Trump began.

Our president-elect was just getting started.

"A legal expense was called, on the books, a legal expense. There was nothing else it could have been called. This was the so-called falsifying of records. I was hiding nothing, everything was out in the open for all to see," Trump continued.

In May, Trump was convicted on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records.

There are two ways to look at this:

1) Trump is unlucky to be facing these charges at all, considering they were made up and brought against him as part of an unfair witch hunt.

2) Trump is extremely lucky to have been convicted of 34 felonies and still not be facing jail time.

The president-elect is displeased that Merchan was allowed to be involved with his case at all, considering that the judge's daughter is a prominent Democratic Party consultant.

Merchan's decision to sentence Trump just over a week before Donald takes office was met with severe scrutiny from Trump and his followers.

Trump also torched Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron, who presided over Donald's civil fraud trial.

Donald called Engoron "another corrupt Judge (overturned 5 times on my case alone, & the most overturned judge in New York!) valued Mar-a-Lago, in Palm Beach, Florida, at $18,000,000, when it is worth 50 to 100 times that amount."

"Deranged Jack Smith" also earned a shout out in Trump's posts.

Do you think Trump is right to be furious that he's still facing sentencing, or should he be counting his lucky stars that he isn't in jail right now?
