Trump Fundraising Makes Major Shift in Trump’s Favor
Donald Trump has had a complete turnaround on the fundraising front.
Throughout the primary, Donald Trump struggled to raise money, which was not a total surprise considering the size of the field.
Now that it is down to one, the big money has come around to Trump, and that massive fundraising deficit has been wiped out.
Broke Don No More
Roughly two months ago, Biden had $100 million more in his war chest than Donald Trump.
Since Trump’s conviction, that has significantly turned, with Trump raising more than $2 million per hour over a 48-hour period at one point.
Heading into June, that massive deficit has been wiped out.
Biden reportedly has $212 million on hand between his campaign, the DNC, and his PACs.
Trump now has a staggering $235 million on hand between his campaign, the RNC, and his PACs.
The difference, however, is that we know Trump will be using some of that money for legal fees, but he will still have a massive stack of cash to start doing ad buys.
Democrats were bragging about the money difference before, now they are making excuses.
For instance, Brian Derrick, a strategist who founded a Democratic fund-raising platform called Oath, stated, “Yes, Trump is raising a lot more money now, and that should scare people.
“But at the end of the day, Biden has the funds that he needs to run a really strong campaign.”
Dan Kanninen, Mr. Biden’s battleground states director, added, “What’s in his F.E.C. report does not translate to boots on the ground tomorrow.
“That was built over time that Donald Trump cannot get back.”
One of the weakest aspects of Trump’s campaign in years past was the ground game, so, hopefully, his campaign has learned from its previous mistakes.
And no, money is not THE deciding factor, but if you don’t have money, you can’t compete, so the biggest worry we had heading into this race is now erased.
We have just over four months remaining in this race and with most of Trump’s legal cases now looking as though they will not take place before the trial, it is time for Trump to open that checkbook and start spending.
Something tells me a Trump tidal wave of ads and rallies is about to hit.
