Trump Extends Lead in Georgia in Latest Polling
The latest round of polling is out and it did not fare well for Kamala Harris.
The former president has been making up ground after the honeymoon phase wore off with Harris.
To that point, the Quinnipiac survey that was just released was devastating for Harris.
Big Moves
Georgia is one of the key cities in this election, and Donald Trump is making big moves right now.
Trump is now holding a 7% edge against Harris in this race. This is key because Georgia is considered a must-win state for Trump.
In individual ballot measures, Trump is also beating Harris just about across the board, so it looks like Georgia could be off the table for Harris.
North Carolina, however, another state that Trump needs, remains up in the air.
Harris is holding a two-point lead right now, but most of the other polls taken show them in a virtual tie.
If Trump takes these two states, he cuts off most of Harris’ alternative paths to the White House.
If that happens, the only way Harris can take the White House is to sweep the Blue Wall states. Right now, she and Trump are duking it out in all three states. If Trump even wins one of those states, he likely only needs to win Arizona or Nevada for the win.
This would explain the urgency on the part of the Harris campaign to have her out there more, which included the recent interview on Fox News.
Harris has also recruited Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. It was also reported this week that Michelle Obama was going to start campaigning for her at the end of October.
I don’t know how much that will help her at that stage of the election, but it does show much panic is happening within the party right now.
