Trump Endorses Challenger To Republican Who Voted To Impeach Donald

Rep. Dan Newhouse just got what could be a death blow from Former President Donald Trump.

Newhouse is likely regretting his vote to impeach Trump!

He is one of the last remaining active House Republicans who voted to impeach Trump over his role in the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol unrest.

Trump has not forgotten what Newhouse did.

The latest from Trump PROVES that.

Former President Donald Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to endorse a replacement for Newhouse.

"Jerrod Sessler is a fantastic candidate and will be a GREAT Congressman for Washington State’s 4th Congressional District," the former president wrote in the recent post.

Sessler is a former petty officer in the Navy who is using Newhouse's impeachment vote against the incumbent.

Ten House Republicans voted to impeach Donald Trump in 2021.

For many of them, their careers are over just a few short years later.

That's the power of Donald Trump.

After Newhouse, Representative David Valadao of California would be the only other remaining House Republican who supported the effort to impeach Donald Trump.

Trump has had a bone to pick with Newhouse ever since Newhouse cast that impeachment vote against Donald.

Back in 2022, Trump backed Loren Culp to replace Newhouse, who has served since 2015.

Culp wasn't even able to make it past the primary stage, as the state's top-two all-party primary system meant that Culp came in third behind Democrat Doug White and wasn't allowed to run in the general election.

Trump will definitely be hoping that this time, his endorsement has a little better impact.

Do you think that Sessler or Newhouse has the early edge in this race?
