Trump Easter Message Rants Over ‘Crooked and Corrupt Prosecutors and Judges’

Donald Trump sent out his Easter greeting, but it was not filled with great holiday wishes.

Instead, Trump ranted about the judges and prosecutors in the case, whom he called “crooked and corrupt.”

That post seems to have been driven by reports that Democrats and been fundraising off the court cases, but that is not the juicy part of this story.

Making Money

Loren Merchan is the daughter of Judge Merchan, who is presiding over Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s hush money case against Trump.

Loren is the president of Authentic Campaigns, a Chicago-based progressive political consulting firm.

As it turns out, her client list is packed with Democrats, which include Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA).

She also works with the Senate Majority PAC, a major fundraising arm for the Democrat Party.

According to the report, those two clients alone have raised roughly $93 million by using the trial in fundraising emails.

This is precisely why Trump has been demanding that Merchan recuse himself from the case due to the conflict of interest.

Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung stated, “Authentic Campaigns, and thus the judge’s daughter, is actively making money from this sham attack against President Trump, rendering Judge Merchan conflicted out.

“The judge should do the right thing and immediately recuse himself in order to show the American people that the Democrats have not destroyed our justice system completely … him continuing to be involved in this Crooked Joe Biden-directed Witch Hunt is a complete violation of applicable rules, regulations and ethics.”

Trump also had a little something to say…

Trump also posted, “Judge Juan Merchan, a very distinguished looking man, is nevertheless a true and certified Trump Hater who suffers from a very serious case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. In other words, he hates me!

“His daughter is a senior executive at a Super Liberal Democrat firm that works for Adam ‘Shifty’ Schiff, the Democrat National Committee, Senate Majority PAC, and even Crooked Joe Biden.”

This case has been a cash cow for Schiff, who has reportedly raised more than $20 million for his Senate campaign off this since the charges were announced last April, while the Senate Majority PAC has raised more than $73 million from the case.

Schiff’s campaign fundraiser email stated, “It is a somber moment, and unprecedented for a former president to be indicted, but his alleged offenses are also unprecedented.

“Trump will respond as he always does — playing the victim and blaming others for having the temerity to investigate him in the first place.”

It is hard to argue against the conflict of interest here, as Trump’s demise clearly benefits Merchan’s daughter’s business, but I doubt Trump will get any relief, at least during the initial trial.

Having said that, just as I stated about the outcome of the case brought by AG Letitia James and presided over by Judge Engoron, this loads Trump up for an appeal, which I believe he will either win outright or eventually find relief from the verdict that we all expect to come from this trial.
