The Trump boys have been working overtime this week defending their father.
The latest indictment really got under people’s skin, as it seems rather baseless and just something that Smith threw at Trump to try to make something, anything stick.
The indictment was so weak, constitutional expert Jonathan Turley was baffled as to how Smith even put this on paper to go after Trump.
Now, Donald Trump’s sons are doing the media circuit to defend their father against this weaponized DOJ.
Eric Trump Goes Off
Eric Trump was on “Jesse Watters Prime Time” this week, going absolutely nuclear over this attack against his father.
He stated, “We’ve dealt with this nonsense from the very beginning. We dealt with it with all the impeachments, we dealt with it with the slanderous Russia lies, the fact that we were colluding with the Kremlin, that we had secret servers in the basement of Trump Tower.
“It’s been lie after lie after lie about my father. Anything they can do to weaken him, to take him down.
“This isn’t new to us, they’re desperate. My father created the greatest political movement in the history of this nation — the love for the man is unbelievable,” reported the Daily Caller.
Eric continued, “And they want to take him out of the race and we’ve seen this before. We’ve seen the FBI be weaponized. We’ve seen the DOJ be weaponized.”
I have tried to be as fair as possible in presenting the cases against Trump, and I agree that I think things are going too far.
I have openly stated that the classified documents case, at least to me, is Trump’s biggest threat.
This January 6 indictment just seems utterly ridiculous, as does the Bragg case, which stacked felony charges on journal entries.
Donald Trump is a threat to the establishment, and they are absolutely terrified of the wrecking ball he will bring with him if he wins another term.
