Trump Campaign Accuses Democrat Rhetoric for Past Assassination Attempts
Throughout this campaign, Democrats have been lobbing bombs at Donald Trump.
They have called him unfit for office, they have claimed he is a threat to democracy, and some have even suggested eliminating him.
As far as Trump, his campaign, and his surrogates are concerned, that rhetoric was responsible for the attempts on Trump’s life and will be responsible for any attempts in the future.
They Did It
The Harris campaign is planning to go all negative over the last two weeks, and it was kicked off after a scathing report about Trump was published in The Atlantic.
Harris pounced on the report, immediately firing shots at Trump, likening him to Adolf Hitler.
Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung fired back, "She continues to stoke the flames of violence all in the name of politics.”
The Mississippi Republican Party added, "This type of rhetoric is dangerous to the life of Donald Trump and our Democracy as we know it.”
Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) chimed in, stating, "These dangerous rants by Kamala Harris, comparing President Trump to Hitler and calling him a fascist, are inciting more hate and vitriol, and ultimately leading to political violence against President Trump.
"It has to stop. This is extremely reckless and dangerous, and we have seen its consequences time and time again. How many more assassination attempts will it take before Democrat leaders tone down their rhetoric?"
Senator JD Vance (R-OH), Trump’s running mate, hit Harris as well, stating, "No one has tried to kill Kamala Harris in the last couple of months, and two people have tried to kill Donald Trump. I say that's strong evidence that the left needs to tone down the rhetoric and cut this crap out, somebody is going to get hurt.”
I have said it before and I will continue say it... and let me be very clear, this is MY opinion.
I believe the Democrats want Trump dead, period. I believe there are elements in the powers that be at the Secret Service that decided to allow the first assassination attempt to play out when it clearly could have been stopped early on.
And I also want to make clear, this is not about negative attacks, but the very specific wording that Democrats are using.
Think about some mentally deranged liberal sitting in his or her basement worried that Donald Trump is going to ban abortion (he is not) or jail transgenders (he is not) or that he will turn his presidency into a dictatorship (he will not), but these are all talking points of the Democrat Party.
I had one of my oldest friends from Philadelphia call me yesterday over concerns about Trump, and every concern she had was completely blown out of proportion by the media and Democrats.
She listened, and while she will not vote for Trump, she was talked down off the ledge that Trump would do all things that the Democrats say he will.
Now think about the trigger words that Dems are using, such as “threat to democracy,” “lock him up," “eliminate him,” “dictator,” and comparing Trump to Hitler.
Do the media and Democrats really want us to believe that those words are not inspiring some lunatic to take another shot at Trump?
So, yes, I agree, Democrats are at fault here, and not only that, I think they want him gone, in any way possible, from this race for fear of him winning again.
