Trump Calls Melania’s Mother’s Condition a ‘Very Tough’ Situation

The end of the year saw more controversy for Donald Trump, only this time it was not another legal problem.

Instead, it was noticed that Melania was missing from a family Christmas photo that was blasted all over the internet.

She was also missing from the New Year’s Eve party at Mar-a-Lago, which really got the rumors flying.

Trump Explains

After the Christmas photo went viral, a friend of the family spoke with Fox News Digital to clear things up, stating, “Melania has always been very devoted to her entire family

“It should be no surprise that she spent this Christmas with her ailing mother.”

Trump confirmed that report, telling them that Melania was still tending to her “very ill” mother. He added, “Hopefully she’ll be recovering.

“Hopefully, that’ll be OK, but it’s a tough one, a very tough one.”

Trump later added, “She [Melania] knows probably about 95 percent of the people in this room. We just want to wish Amalija that she gets better as quickly as possible.”

Trump made the announcement during his annual New Year's Eve party at Mar-a-Lago, but Melania was not the only Trump missing from the event. Ivanka, Barron, and Don Jr. were also absent from the pictures and videos that I saw from the event.

There was no information about Barron or Don Jr., but we do know Ivanka definitely missed the event, choosing to go skiing with her family instead.

There was some pushback on the Melania narrative, however, because Melania’s father was at Mar-a-Lago over Christmas, people were wondering why he would not also be by his ailing wife’s side.

We are not going to fall into the trap of the gossip mongers, so we will just wait for another update on her condition before speculating on anything else.

Hopefully, Melania’s mother make a full recovery and we see Melania on the campaign trail more in 2024.
