Trump Calls for FBI DEI Records to be Retained

This week, a rather interesting story popped up that the FBI was closing the doors of its DEI office.

The FBI actually called it the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (OIC).

Trump is now calling for all records to be preserved, believing that was some form of corruption taking place.

Trump has always pushed back regarding DEI policies, but he is taking it to a whole new level with the FBI.

Trump believes the doors were closed before he came in to facilitate some type of coverup.

The former and future president took to Truth Social to voice his claim, posting, "We demand that the FBI preserve and retain all records, documents, and information on the now closing DEI Office—Never should have been opened and, if it was, should have closed long ago.

"Why is it that they’re closing one day before the Inauguration of a new Administration? The reason is, CORRUPTION!"

House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA) also called out DEI, stating, “Some of these agencies have gotten so wrapped up in the DEI movement.

“Call it wokeness, call it whatever you want. But ... their main focus is on diversity and inclusion as opposed to security. And they’re two very different things. And we’ve got to get back to that core mission.”

I don’t know about corruption, but I can guarantee you they all saw the writing on the wall and knew that as soon as Trump came in, these offices would be closed regardless, so they are just beating him to the punch.

But I have to admit, if you have nothing to hide, why are you all of a sudden running for the hills?

It will be really interesting to see what they uncover after taking office.
