Trump Cabinet Picks Facing Serious Threats
Donald Trump has started making his cabinet picks and the left is already having a meltdown over them.
Numerous reports have surfaced that Trump’s cabinet picks are facing threats.
Reports have surfaced from bomb threats to “swatting” the selections.
The Meltdown
We all knew that Donald Trump had learned from his first term that he would not be relying on his buddies in the establishment to help him pick his cabinet this time around.
Trump has picked nothing but Trump loyalists, knowing they will fully support his agenda and not fight him like his first term.
This, of course, has created outrage among the media, Democrats, and liberals.
Incoming White House Press Secretary Karline Leavitt reported that many of these picks have received threats.
One person was threatened with a pipe bomb that had a “pro-Palestinian” message, while another was threatened with the new “in” thing to do to people... swatting.
According to Fox News, John Ratcliffe, the nominee to be CIA director; Pete Hegseth, the nominee for secretary of defense; and Rep. Elise Stefanik, the nominee for UN ambassador, were among those targeted. Brooke Rollins, who Trump has tapped to be secretary of agriculture, and Lee Zeldin, Trump's nominee to be EPA administrator were all threatened.
Leavitt stated, "Last night and this morning, several of President Trump’s Cabinet nominees and administration appointees were targeted in violent, unAmerican threats to their lives and those who live with them.
"In response, law enforcement acted quickly to ensure the safety of those who were targeted. President Trump and the entire Transition team are grateful for their swift action."
The FBI also issued a statement: "The FBI is aware of numerous bomb threats and swatting incidents targeting incoming administration nominees and appointees, and we are working with our law enforcement partners.
"We take all potential threats seriously and, as always, encourage members of the public to immediately report anything they consider suspicious to law enforcement."
Sadly, I still fear the worst is yet to come on this front.
I will be the first to admit I was shocked when riots did not happen on election day, but I think many liberals were in disbelief and shock, probably thinking the Dems would still somehow figure out a way to win this election.
By inauguration day, the shock will have worn off and their battle plan will have been made.
I would gladly love to be wrong and see the country move forward from this toxic environment, but these threats against Trump officials tell me we are just getting started.
