Just about as soon as the gag order was lifted on Donald Trump, he unleashed on Special Counsel Jack Smith and one of the witnesses in the classified documents case.
Judge Chutkan decided to lift the gag order on Trump after his legal team filed for an appeal of the order.
She may regret that after Trump went nuclear on Truth Social.
Trump Unloads
Reports surfaced over the weekend that Donald Trump shared classified information with fellow billionaire Anthony Pratt at Mar-a-Lago.
According to Pratt, Trump told him information regarding US nuclear sub-capabilities, which Trump denied.
Several outlets, however, published that there is audio of Trump sharing this information, which, if true, could bury Trump in this case.
Trump responded to the reports on Truth Social, posting, “The Failing New York Times story, leaked by Deranged Jack Smith and the Biden ‘Political Opponent Abuser’ DOJ, about a red haired weirdo from Australia, named Anthony Pratt, is Fake News.
“I never spoke to him about Submarines, but I did speak to him about creating jobs in Ohio and Pennsylvania, because that’s what I’m all about - JOBS, A GREAT ECONOMY, LOW TAXES, NO INFLATION, ENERGY DOMINANCE, STRONG BORDERS, NO ENDLESS WARS, LOW INTEREST RATES, and much more! Maggie Hagerman and the Misfits never called me for a comment.
“Why would they, they just write anything they want. Whether it’s correct or not is of ZERO importance to them. ‘All the News That’s Unfit To Print.’ That’s why we call it the Fake News!”
Using words like “deranged” and “thug” to describe court members and witnesses is what resulted in the gag order being issued in the first place.
My suggestion to Trump and his attorneys would be to dial down the rhetoric and stick to the facts, and he will not have to worry about a gag order.
The insults, however, are what is going to make Chutkan put the gag order back into effect.
And if Trump loses his ability to post on Truth Social, well, he is burying his campaign because that is the only real outlet he has right now.
