Former President Donald Trump is bashing Fox News just days ahead of the first GOP presidential debate hosted by the network.
Trump is not expected to participate in the debate, leading to controversy over his absence.
Less than a week before the @GOP's first primary debate, which is being broadcast on @FoxNews, Donald Trump wrote two social media posts criticizing the network.
"Unless FoxNews starts putting the RIGHT people on, their Ratings will never recover."https://t.co/B3LqpG4WZZ

"Why doesn't Fox and Friends show all of the Polls where I am beating Biden, by a lot. They just won't do it!" he wrote Thursday morning. "Also, they purposely show the absolutely worst pictures of me, especially the big 'orange' one with my chin pulled way back.
"They think they are getting away with something, they're not. Just like 2016 all over again … And then they want me to debate!" he added.

"Trump has been railing against the network for months, arguing Fox has not been giving him favorable enough coverage and accusing the network of boosting his political enemies," the Hill reported.
"Fox is hosting the first GOP debate next week, which Trump has not committed to participating in, citing his sizable lead in most GOP primary polls and what he says is a 'hostile' relationship with the network," it continued.
Despite Trump's large poll lead, other GOP candidates have challenged him to participate, claiming that no one should be able to assume a win without going through the process.
Top contenders include Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis who has been attacked by Trump, fellow Republican candidates, and Democrats.
The attacks have led to some struggles for the rising GOP star, leading to others closing the gap in an effort for second.
The debate will offer an opportunity for those involved to stand out but Trump would apparently rather avoid the show and speak out against Fox News instead.
