Trump Attorneys File to Block Harris from Biden’s $91m War Chest

With Joe Biden dropping out, the big question was what was going to happen to the remaining $91 million he had left in campaign money.

Well, the Biden campaign planned on just transferring that money over to the Harris campaign.

However, Trump’s legal team is fighting the move.

Not So Fast

The dropping out by Joe Biden is an unprecedented move, so there are a lot of questions regarding the legality of any of this, especially the financial aspect.

Trump’s legal team believes what Harris and Biden are doing is an FEC violation.

His attorneys argued, “This is little more than a thinly veiled $91.5 million excessive contribution from one presidential candidate to another, that is, from Joe Biden’s old campaign to Kamala Harris’s new campaign.

“Contributions by federal candidate committees to other federal candidates are limited to $2,000.

“Kamala Harris is in the process of committing the largest campaign finance violation in American history and she is using the Commission’s own forms to do it.”

According to the report, Biden’s campaign treasurer merely swapped out Biden’s name for Harris, then pointed to Harris for President as her committee, but it was the same FEC ID that was used for Biden’s campaign.

Trump’s attorneys continued, “There is no provision in federal campaign finance law for Kamala Harris to take over Joe Biden’s candidacy now by quite literally attempting to become him via an amendment… and making off with all of his cash.

“Ms. Harris’ actions constitute a massive excessive contribution from Biden for President to Ms. Harris.”

Harris, of course, says there is nothing illegal going on, but I am looking forward to seeing this one play out in court.

What about all those people who donated to Joe Biden that would not have donated to Harris? Should they at least have the option of getting their money back?

The entire Democrat Party is just playing the long con against the American people right now, and the most bothersome thing to me is that the media is not even blowing a whistle of any sort to expose it.
