Yet another Trump attorney in the Georgia election fraud case has pleaded guilty.
Just before going to trial, attorneys Sidney Powell and Kenneth Chesebro both struck deals to avoid jail time.
Ellis took the same route, pleading guilty to one felony charge.
Get It Over With
The price of loyalty to Donald Trump in this environment is a steep one.
We have seen dozens of careers that have been ruined already, and Ellis is just one more to add to the list.
She pleaded guilty to one felony count of aiding and abetting false statements and writings in Georgia.
She will now face five years of probation, a $5,000 fine, and 100 hours of community service.
Ellis stated, "If I knew then what I know now, I would have declined to represent Donald Trump in these post-election challenges. I look back on this experience with deep remorse.”
Here is her plea statement…

Willis has now secured four plea deals from the 19 named codefendants, which I am convinced was her plan all along.
She overcharged everyone, knowing full well that most of them would seek deals just to get the case over with.
If she can have deals stacked up, even if none of them are doing time, she will have a mountain of ammunition to use against Trump during his trial, and that is all she is really worried about.
Trump is the big fish… everyone else is just bait.
