Trump Assassination Suspect Pleads ‘Not Guilty’

The man who tried to kill Donald Trump at his golf course in Florida finally appeared in court this week.

Even though he was caught stalking Trump for 12 hours and more or less caught dead to rights, he is pleading not guilty.

The alleged assassin has been charged with five federal counts, according to reports.

Not Guilty

The five charges were brought against the alleged assassin and included the attempted assassination of a major political candidate and the assault of a federal officer.

The man’s rifle was seen poking through the fence line of Trump’s West Palm Beach golf course adjacent to Mar-a-Lago.

The shooter (no, I will not use his name and make him famous) allegedly set up shop for about 12 hours, waiting for Trump to approach that section of the golf course on September 15.

As Trump neared that area, agents saw the weapon and opened fire, with the shooter fleeing the scene.

A witness was able to get a picture of the man’s car to authorities, and within hours, they had him in custody.

The shooter had written a manifesto of sorts, stating, “Dear world, this was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump but I am so sorry I failed you.

“I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster.”

He also offered a significant bounty for anyone successfully carrying out the task, which had outraged the Trump camp, who were shocked that the DOJ would not redact that particular information.

Trump has started to use these attempts on his life as campaign fodder, saying the Biden administration cannot be trusted to properly prosecute the two men who tried to take his life.

Trump has also blamed the Democrat rhetoric against him for being responsible for the attacks.

The media, of course, blames Trump for everything and seemingly thinks that only Trump’s rhetoric gets people worked up and that the Democrat rhetoric fails to land.

Yet Biden talked about putting a “bullseye” on Trump, and Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) talked about “eliminating” Trump.

I have never given Trump a pass for his rhetoric, but I have also stated that this works both ways, and I guarantee all the nonsense that Dems have been spewing for the last decade inspired these whackos to get off their couches and take a shot at Trump.
