Trump and NYC Mayor Adams to Meet at Mar-a-Lago Before Inauguration

New York City Mayor Eric Adams is pulling out all the stops so he won’t have to go to jail if he is found guilty of corruption.

Adams has been trying to get in with Trump, and now there are reports that Adams will be heading down to Florida for a little one-on-one time with Trump.

Trump has already stated that he would consider pardoning Adams, which I think is a mistake, but I am sure that is why Adams is schmoozing with Trump.

Let’s Not Forget…

When New York first started getting packed with migrants, let’s not forget the fact that Adams had blasted Governor Abbott and blamed him for the problem.

In reality, Adams had made a deal with a Democrat border mayor to take migrants, and the migrants sent by Abbott were only a small percentage of the migrants Adams was taking in.

Adams really only started pushing back against Biden when funding was denied. And after his corruption indictment came down, then he really started to push back against Biden, surely hoping to get Trump’s attention.

Well, it worked. So much so, Trump has already stated that he thinks Adams has been treated very unfairly, which is complete and utter nonsense.

Adams got caught accepting campaign funds from foreign donors, which pumped up his numbers, allowing him to take advantage of a match donation program in New York, among other alleged crimes.

Adams left for Florida on Thursday, with his office stating, “Mayor Adams has made quite clear his willingness to work with President-elect Trump and his incoming administration on behalf of New Yorkers — and that partnership with the federal government is critical to New York City’s success.

“Tomorrow, Mayor Adams will sit down with President-elect Trump and discuss New Yorkers’ priorities. The mayor looks forward to having a productive conversation with the incoming president on how we can move our city and country forward.”

Adams is working Trump, nothing more. He is trying to protect himself if he loses his case, and there is simply no way I can get behind Trump pardoning a corrupt public official.

Proof is in the pudding, and all you have to do to realize that Adams is corrupt is to see the staggering number of officials in his administration that are also facing indictments.

If he is found guilty, send him to jail.
