Trump Already Adding New Touches to Oval Office

Donald Trump has a very particular taste when it comes to décor, and I can guarantee you that it does not align with Joe Biden’s.

To that point, only one day in, Donald Trump was already adding his own personal touches to the office and removing items that were put in place for Joe Biden.

At the top of that list was removing a picture of FDR, the 32nd president, and adding a Ronald Reagan rug to the room.

Changeover

The rug from the Reagan administration was also used in Trump’s first term, which is not surprising.

Donald Trump modeled his presidency after Reagan’s right down to the MAGA slogan.

Trump also put the Andrew Jackson portrait back up, a controversial figure for Democrats, but Donald Trump loves him, so the painting was hung in the Oval Office again.

Trump removed Kennedy's bust, which is interesting since Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is going to be in his administration if approved by the Senate.

To Donald Trump’s delight, the infamous “Diet Coke” button has been restored, so Trump need only push the button, and an aide will bring him his favorite soft drink.

In the pictures I saw, there was also a model of the Trump version of Air Force One on the coffee table in the middle of the room.

Trump had ordered a replacement plane for Air Force One, changing the design to red, white, and blue, but Biden changed the design back to the traditional Air Force One colors that originated during the Kennedy administration.

I am very curious to see if Trump will revert the design (Biden changed it back to the original design over cost concerns).

At this point, the only thing we don’t know about Trump’s first day is what was in the traditional letter left by the outgoing president and in the drawer of the Resolute Desk for the new president’s first day.

Trump is certainly making changes whether we approve or not, we just have to wait and see how they turn out!
