Trey Gowdy Sets Expectations for Congress Post 2022 Election

Manage expectations… that is something that Trey Gowdy wants us all to do right now.

His segment is something that everyone needs to hear.

He backs up several points we have made during this process, but he does it far better than I.

Be Realistic

One point all along that I have made is that we need to capture one chamber simply to stop Joe Biden.

I have also stated that even if we do win both the House and Senate, we still will not see any GOP laws passed.

They will get through the House and Senate, but Biden has already stated that he will veto everything that comes across his desk, but that works in our favor.

Biden wants to set the GOP up to take the fall for the recession that is looming.

If we take both chambers and bombard him with legislation that gets vetoed, he cannot make that claim.

Gowdy’s segment on this was exceptional…

And I agree with him wholeheartedly in politicians overpromising.

That even goes at the local level, especially in these races where the GOP can take a governor’s race in a blue-dominated state.

They still have to work with a Democrat-dominated legislature, so how much will someone like Lee Zeldin really be able to accomplish if he wins his election?

Just some food for thought.
