Travis Kelce's Trainer Talks About NFL Star's Struggles

According to Travis Kelce's trainer, when you ask him who is at fault for the NFL star's lackluster season...

Taylor Swift is out of the running.

Kelce, a well-known standout for the Kansas City Chiefs has recently started dating world-famous performer Taylor Swift.

Swift has famously been present at nearly all of Kelce’s games since the two became an item.

Now Kelce's trainer, Andrew Spruill, has commented on how he feels about the fan-driven theory that Swift is to blame for Kelce’s recent shortcomings on the field.

Spruill told the Palm Beach Post that pointing fingers at Swift for Kelce’s poor performance is “ludicrous.”

The trainer didn’t stop there. He explained what really happened one particularly controversial recent game.

“He started off hurt and missed game one. Two days before the game, he hyperextended his knee at practice,” Spruill said.

Many worried Kelce’s knee injury would cost him the rest of the season, but thankfully, it was only one game.

“He’s been as healthy as you can be for an NFL player for his career. Rookie year he missed but hadn’t missed a game until this year,” Spruill said.

Spruill is extremely optimistic for Kelce’s future.

The trainer also took time to comment on just how motivated Kelce is when it comes to improving his skill set.

“A lot of guys like him are so good, but when they’re training, they’re still in the, ‘I-don’t-know-anything’’ mode. They never think they already know it all. As good as he is, guys like him are still in the gym, listening, taking notes and getting coached. Being so coachable, on top of their athletic ability, it’s a perfect recipe for great players,” Spruill said.

You heard it from Kelce’s trainer himself.

Taylor Swift is not the one to blame.
