Trafalgar Poll: Lee Zeldin Takes Lead in New York

Democrats are in real trouble in deep blue governor races right now.

Look no further than Lee Zeldin making up a massive deficit to overtake Governor Kathy Hochul in New York.

Hochul took over after Cuomo was ousted due to numerous sexual misconduct scandals.

Against All Odds

Hochul, like many Democrats, has decided to deny there is a crime problem in her state.

With crime, economy, and inflation at the top of voters’ wish lists, Zeldin has overtaken her for the first time in polling.

He is now leading the governor, 48.4 to 47.6 percent.

Zeldin stated, “Crime Wave Kathy is driving New York right off a cliff.

“To repeal cashless bail, fire rogue DAs like Alvin Bragg, stop congestion pricing, and take other bold action to save our state, Hochul’s gotta go.

“On November 8th, we are going to win this race for governor, because we have to win this race. Losing is not an option.

“New Yorkers throughout the state are sick and tired of the attacks on our wallets, safety, freedom and kids’ education.

“They’re fed up with the direction of Kathy Hochul’s New York, her rampant pay-to-play corruption, soaring crime, and crushing costs.”

I am far from confident that he will pull this off, but I do like the way the polls have been trending.

We also need to look at the other end of this if we get these wins.

Every Republican in a high-profile race, including House Reps and Senators, are running on an anti-crime platform.

That means they have to deliver, and they have to deliver quickly, or we get booted in 2024, 2026, and 2028.

I hope they all have a plan and are not just blowing smoke up our you know what.
