Democrats took to social media to speak out against House Republicans after they passed a bill to save the lives of babies who survive botched abortions.
Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Vice President Kamala Harris all spoke out on the lifesaving measure as "extreme."

"Today, instead of joining Democrats to condemn all political violence, @HouseGOP chose to push their extreme anti-choice agenda," Pelosi tweeted Wednesday.
"Democrats believe everyone deserves the freedom to access reproductive health services – without fear of violence, intimidation or harassment," she added.

None of the three leading Democrats noted that the act is designed to save the lives of babies who survive a late-term abortion attempt. The left's alternative is to allow children who survive an abortion to still have their lives ended.
All but one Democrat voted against the measure, with one other Democrat voting present.
