Top Democrat Calling Out AOC for Mid-term Losses

Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chair Sean Patrick Maloney took a historic loss in the House.

It is tough to ever remember a DCCC chair losing a general election.

Now that he is out, he is throwing daggers at some of his party members.

Did Nothing

While most of us would agree this election was a disappointment, New York went shockingly well.

It was the one state where we can say that the GOP strongly overperformed.

Even though Lee Zeldin lost his election, the strength of his campaign did have some benefits to down-ballot races.

The big story here, however, is leadership calling out AOC for failing to help her fellow New York Democrats.

Maloney stated, "The last time I ran into A.O.C., we were beating her endorsed candidate two to one in a primary, and I didn’t see her one minute of these midterms helping our House majority.

“So, I’m not sure what kind of advice she has, but I’m sure she’ll be generous with it.”

He added, "But let’s be clear, she had almost nothing to do with what turned out to be an historic defense of our majority. Didn’t pay a dollar of dues.

“Didn’t do anything for our frontline candidates except give them money when they didn’t want it from her."

Yet, they continue to give her a huge voice in the party direction… go figure.
