John Fetterman doesn't want us to know what he's all about.
The Democrat nominee for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania has covered his forearm tattoo.
The one that said:
"I WILL MAKE YOU HURT."
In 2009, an article in Rolling Stone described in detail Fetterman's forearm tattoos:
"Fetterman inked Braddock’s ZIP code, 15104, on his left forearm. Since then, he has tattooed the dates of every murder committed in the town on the underside of his right arm. On the top of his forearm, in bold black letters, he inscribed the words I WILL MAKE YOU HURT. ‘That’s what it does to me,’ he says. ‘It’s very personal.’"
By the time Fetterman was failing to capture a U.S. Senate Seat in the Keystone State in 2015, the "artwork" had been covered up.
They could just be the lyrics from the fairly popular song by Nine Inch Nails and famously covered by Johnny Cash entitled "hurt."
But even if they aren't Fetterman's own words, what do they mean to him?
