Kelisa Wing is a diversity, equity and inclusion chief at the Pentagon's education wing – the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA).
She is already under a 30-day investigation for some controversial tweets.
She has more problems now, as some previous book endorsements have surfaced.
The information has conservatives completely outraged and demanding her dismissal.
Fire Her Now
Wing sets the curriculum for our military children's schooling around the globe.
Keep that in mind as you read this report.
Wing has endorsed a book called "Between the World and Me."
The book's author describes 9/11 first responders: "They were not human to me.
"Black, white, or whatever, they were menaces of nature; they were the fire, the comet, the storm, which could — with no justification — shatter my body."
To justify allowing our children to read that garbage, Wing wrote, "We also have to avoid the pitfall of teaching about the same historical people from various cultures as well (e.g., only focusing on Martin Luther King, Jr., or Harriet Tubman) when there are a wealth of diverse, historical and current people of color who we can choose to highlight."
As noted above, Wing is already under investigation for a series of racist tweets she had sent out.
This woman needs to be fired... it is as simple as that.
