“The number one thing we should do is finish the border wall. The second thing that we should do is use the available technology to stop the fentanyl from killing another 70,000 Americans per year,” Scott said.
“We cut off their blood support, so to speak, by taking away their money. If we do that, we’ll save tens of thousands of American lives. I wrote the legislation to get that done. It was passed through the Senate,” he added.
Biden has left our southern border wide open and has no ideas and no vision for ending this shameful retreat from our own sovereign soil.

"Biden has left our southern border wide open and has no ideas and no vision for ending this shameful retreat from our own sovereign soil," Scott tweeted alongside his Fox News interview after his recent visit to the border.
"I will secure our border, crush the cartels’ supply chain, and save Americans from losing their lives to fentanyl," he continued.
Scott has been among several Republican candidates who have attacked the Biden administration's border crisis as a major part of their campaign.
In addition to Scott, former President Donald Trump, Gov. Ron DeSantis, former Vice President Mike Pence and others have spoken out about the need to finish the wall and crack down on illegal immigration.
The words from Scott come as he continues to gain in his polling efforts ahead of the first GOP primary debate.
His emphasis on the border is likely to continue during the debate and beyond as he seeks to position himself as the candidate who will stop the border crisis and finish the wall.
