TikToker dead at 26 after battle with colon cancer
A creator known for being open about her life and health struggles online has passed away, and an online community is mourning his passing.
In a heartfelt social media message, Caden Hutchins relayed the news that his wife Bailey, a 26-year-old TikToker who went by the name "Healing With Bailey," passed away on February 7th after a courageous battle with colorectal cancer, as PEOPLE online reported.
“I’m devastated to say that my Bailey B has passed away last night,” Caden wrote in a Feb. 8 Instagram post, jointly with Bailey’s account.
“She fought such a tough incredible fight these past two years and she’s no longer suffering from all the torturous pain she has endured during this journey. Being your husband and caregiver has been such a blessing to me."
About Bailey's Struggle
Caden, who had tied the knot with Bailey in 2023, revealed that he is experiencing "disbelief" over the loss of his wife during the course of her cancer battle, which lasted for two years.
“You were and always will be such a light in any room you fill Bailey, and such an inspiration to others,” he added.
“Your faith could move mountains Baby, unfortunately God had bigger plans for you Up Above. Until we meet again.”
Caden, who Bailey described as being by her side in the hospital ever since she checked in, provided an update on her behalf a few days later, stating that she had been discharged from the hospital following two surgical procedures.
From the Family
In addition, Bailey's sister Ashley Rolfes published a post that included a carousel of photographs of the two of them together.
"As of 2/7 at 10:30 pm, after a two-year battle of a terrible disease, my beautiful sister gained her angel wings," she wrote.
A video of Bailey getting ready for her wedding day was posted on her TikTok profile alongside a note announcing her passing.
Caden and the bride stand side by side at the end of the video, which is set to the 2015 song "See You Again" by Wiz Khalifa.
