The entire state of Illinois seems to be on tilt.
Chicago's horrific and violent crimes have surfaced in Bolingbrook, IL, leaving three people dead.
A teenager is the alleged shooter in a case that left three family members dead, reports ABC News.
According to local police, a teenage boy went berserk during a home invasion, killing three people, including his girlfriend.
The deceased have been identified as Cartez L. Daniels, 40, and Samiya A. Shelton-Tillman, 17. There was a second juvenile victim, but that individual has not yet been identified.
A 34-year-old woman was in the home at the time who was also injured. She has been transported to a local hospital for gunshot wounds.
Also inside the home at the time were a 3-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy. Those two were not injured during the attack, reports Fox News.
The alleged shooter was apparently dating the 17-year-old girl that was killed during the attack. The Village of Bolingbrook Police stated, "Our patrol officers and investigators are working diligently on all potential leads and evidence at this time."
Neighbor Ryan Hedberg described the scene, stating, "Came home from dropping off my kids, hanging out inside, heard two gunshots; there was apparently more, but it's what we heard sitting inside. It's kind of weird being over here, it's usually quiet."
Police are still investigating the crime as well as the possible motive behind the shootings.
Police are asking anyone with any information regarding the crime to call the Bolingbrook Police Department Investigations Division at 630-226-8620. They can also leave an anonymous tip by calling Crime Stoppers at 630-378-4772.
