Texas Murder-Suicide Stuns Nation

A crime of passion comes to us from the great state of Texas.

A report broke last week that a wealthy attorney in Texas was murdered… by his wife, who was nine years younger.

After taking his life, the wife reportedly turned the gun on herself.

They’re Gone

According to reports, attorney Jerry Hernandez, 61, was shot dead by his wife, Sonia, 52.

The two bodies were found dead inside their $1.6 million property located in Shavano Park, which is in Bexar County, TX.

The area is a San Antonio suburb, featuring most of the wealthiest families in the area.

On Wednesday morning, police responded to reports of shots being fired at the residence.

When they arrived, both individuals were already dead, with the coroner soon thereafter ruling Jerry’s death as a homicide and Sonia’s death a suicide.

Police offered no further details on the tragic shooting.

Hernandez was reportedly a personal injury attorney. He graduated from the University of Texas in 1985 and obtained his law degree from California Western School of Law in 1988.

He was previously named the top personal injury attorney in S.A. Scene Magazine.

Sonia was a small business owner who reportedly ran a local spa.

The couple is survived by one child, Bianca Rose, 25.
