Texas is once again standing up for the people of this country where Congress has failed us.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has filed a lawsuit to block Joe Biden's latest immigration order.
He is doing so on the basis that the new order creates an undue burden on the American people.
Standing Up
Biden had reversed a Trump policy that blocked freeloader from entering this country. Since Biden seems to prefer people living off our dime, he changed the public charge rule back.
A press release by Paxton's office states, "Aliens often provide documentation of financial support from family as proof that they won't become a burden on taxpayers. But the Biden rule prohibits a robust and meaningful investigation into the veracity of this documentation.
"Attorney General Paxton's lawsuit alleges that the December 2022 rule was adopted in violation of federal law and is arbitrary and capricious."
Democrats claimed the Trump rule was racist, but if that is the case, there are dozens of countries around the globe that should also be deemed racists for outright refusing to allow what we call public charges to come to their country for residence.
Paxton added, "The Biden Administration is committed to opening the borders to aliens who lack the ability to take care of themselves.
"Texans should not have to pay for these costly immigrants, nor should any other American.
"I will continue to defend the rule of law and fight to ensure that the massive costs of illegal immigration don't further burden taxpayers."
Paxton better get his clerk ready to fight another new rule from Biden, as the Oval Office puppet just signed an order that will allow 30,000 "parole" entrees every month, most of whom would likely be coming here needing assistance after arriving.
Since nobody else seems willing to stand up to Biden, I guess it will continue to be the fight of the great state of Texas.
