Symone Sanders-Townsend Rips Pelosi for Leading Biden Coup
Now that the election is over, all those people who were applying pressure to have Biden step aside are pointing fingers.
This would now include Symone Sanders-Townsend, who worked for Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) before working for Harris.
Sanders-Townsend is now pointing the finger at Pelosi for having led the coup to have Biden removed from the ticket.
It’s Nancy’s Fault
When the pressure was being applied to Joe Biden, there were only a handful of people who continued to support Joe Biden, and Symone Sanders-Townsend was not one of them.
After that disastrous debate performance, everyone was on board with having Joe Biden removed.
Now, however, Symone Sanders-Townsend is being very critical of Pelosi.
She stated, “I’m gonna say it if she ain’t gonna say it — Nancy Pelosi, everybody talks about how the speaker emerita, you know, she’s so strategic, she can count, she did all of that when she was the speaker in Congress, but my question is: Where is your calculator now?”
Sanders-Townsend continued, “She played in presidential politics this cycle, and she helped orchestrate the very public demise of the president.
“And thank God for Joe Biden, that he came out and, yes, endorsed his VP. ‘Cause these people wanted an open primary!”
When Pelosi was asked about how things went down, she pushed back on the Biden endorsement of Harris.
She stated, “We live with what happened, and because the president endorsed Kamala Harris immediately, that really made it almost impossible to have a primary at that time. If it had been much earlier, it would have been different.”
In reality, Biden should never have been able to leave the race unless Democrats used the 25th Amendment against him or he resigned from office as president.
This is not how our election system works. Just because you are behind in polling does not mean you get to replace a duly elected nominee.
I continue to maintain that I believe the Harris appointment under these specific circumstances was unconstitutional and had Donald Trump lost, I believe the RNC would have fought her election win on that premise.
