This was like an episode from "The Apprentice."
The entire Uvalde, TX, school district police department has been suspended.
Save for one officer, who was terminated.
Get Out
This was a move well beyond what most of us were expecting.
Word came down on Friday that the entire force was going to be suspended.
The exception was Officer Crimson Elizondo, who was only recently hired.
Elizondo is a former Texas State Trooper who was among the responders to the school shooting.
She was also caught on bodycam footage saying something that had everyone outraged.
She was reportedly heard saying, "If my son had been in there, I would not have been outside. I promise you that."
Officers Lt. Miguel Hernandez and Ken Mueller were placed on administrative leave.
Mueller has already put in his papers and retired.
