Just 35% of Democrats hold a positive view of Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), the party's minority leader in the House.
Jeffries was selected by his fellow House Democrats after Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) chose to step down from party leadership.

The Sunday CBS/YouGov poll found, "Eighteen percent overall hold a favorable view of Jeffries, while 41 percent of respondents had never heard of him or his attacks on democracy."
"Jeffries' favorability among the Democrats' intersection coalition was quite low. Among independents, Jeffries held a 16-point favorability. That number only increased to 22 percent among black voters and 20 percent among Hispanics. Only 19 percent of respondents younger than 30 viewed Jeffries favorably. Among American women, his rating sank to 14 percent," Breitbart News reported.
The percentages were far lower than Pelosi's favorability, which stood at 61% among Democrats in the poll.

Republican National Committee's research found that Jeffries attacked democracy at least 100 times, including numerous attacks on past elections.
"The seven ways in which Jeffries attacked democracy were spewed into the public domain for years via Twitter, TV, and political speeches," a separate Breitbart report noted.
"The tabulation goes back as far as 2017 after former President Donald Trump defeated two-time failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton," it added.
The poll's low numbers reveal that Jeffries faces a battle not only with House Republicans but also with America's Democrats who do view him favorably.
The numbers also come as the GOP steps up investigations over aspects of the left's agenda over the past two years, including Hunter Biden, the origins of COVID-19 and the border crisis that has led to more than 4.3 migrant crossing in the past two years.
