Supreme Court may have final word on Trump's boundary-testing agenda

Donald Trump is FIGHTING BACK against the liberals in this country who have worked so hard to keep him out of office.

As a result of Republicans controlling both the House AND the Senate, Democrats might not get much help from Congress in their fight against Trump. Instead, many liberals are hoping The U.S. Supreme Court will keep him in check.

Their position is an interesting one, as Trump is the man responsible for the Supreme Court's current conservative majority. However, it is much more difficult to buy and sell these judges than it is the people in Congress, so liberals are hoping that the Supreme Court will not feel the need to allow Trump to do whatever he wants in office.

Per the Washington Post:

With Republican allies controlling the House and Senate, the Supreme Court could emerge as the most likely check on the president-elect’s promise to assert sweeping powers — in ways that could test the boundaries of the law and the Constitution.

This term is shaping up to be a very important one, and it's going to be extremely interesting to see what Trump is able to get done with so many allies in our federal government.

Trump needs to realize how lucky he is to have Republicans controlling all three branches of America's government right now, although the Supreme Court isn't likely to blindly agree with all of Trump's desires.

Trump's controversial agenda to round up and deport ALL illegal immigrants is something about which many liberals are furious, and those liberals are hoping that the high court might be able to do something about it.

Despite Trump appointing three of the current justices on the Supreme Court, one study shows that "Trump has lost at the high court more than any other modern president, and several recent rulings that curbed the power of regulatory agencies could hem in his agenda."

Liberals aren't expecting the Supreme Court to rule against Trump in all or even most cases.

However, how much leeway will the Supreme Court give Trump?

Only time will tell.
