Sunny Hostin Says Tim Scott Wouldn't Help Trump With Black Voters

For months, speculation has grown about who former President Donald Trump will select as his vice-presidential candidate.

There have been so many suggestions that even the short list has grown long.

However, according to one of the hosts of The View, Sunny Hostin, she knows who will NOT be the vice-presidential candidate.

Despite everyone speculating about the notion that Republican Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina could be one of Trump’s top picks for a running mate, Hostin, did not share that sentiment.

In fact, she believes the exact OPPOSITE, despite Scott receiving an endorsement from Trump just months ago.

According to Hostin, if the leading reason Scott would be selected is to help Trump win Black voters, it will not help Trump a bit.

“If anyone thinks that Tim Scott is going to bring over a bunch of Black men, they really need to just get with it, because Tim Scott is the only African American senator in the Republican Party for a reason,” Hostin said.

Hostin did not stop there.

She went on to point out that the Democrats are the ones who usually those votes, saying that “we have people like [House Minority Leader] Hakeem Jeffries, we have people like [New Jersey Sen.] Cory Booker, we have people like Sen. Kamala Harris, who’s now the vice president of the United States, we have former President Obama.”

At this point, it seems that Hostin is trying to convince HERSELF.

Trump does not need the help of Scott to win Black votes.

If Tim Scott is selected to be Trump’s vice-presidential candidate, it will be because he is the right person for the job!

What do you think of what Hostin had to say about Trump and Scott?
