On August 3, Joe Biden signed an executive order to allow taxpayer-funded abortions.
The goal was to help individuals who wanted an abortion in a state with restrictions in place to be able to do so in another state.
All red states are ignoring the order and blue states are doing it as well.
Why would that be?
There are two words today... overreach and illegal.
Just don't tell Kamala because she will use them both 20 times in the same sentence, but I digress.
There is this little pesky law called the Hyde Amendment.
That law specifically forbids the use of taxpayer money for abortions unless it is a case of rape, incest, or the mother's life is in danger.
The reason states are not using this executive order is because it is illegal, period.
Even blue-state governors are worried about the repercussions of using federal funds for this purpose because they know it is illegal.
Yet, when Karine Jean-Pierre was asked about it, she responded, "This [executive order] will not violate the Hyde Amendment.
"It is law, and we followed the law here."
The moment one penny is spent of taxpayer money on an abortion that does not meet the exceptions of the Hyde Amendment, they have broken the law.
