State Department Issues Travel Alert Amid Israel-Hamas War

It only took 12 days, but our State Department has finally addressed the obvious.

On Thursday, State issued a travel advisory to all United States citizens who are traveling abroad.

It urged "exercise increased caution" due to the Israel-Hamas War.

Be Careful

The alert was not just for travel in the area but instead a “worldwide alert.”

The State Department announced, "Due to increased tensions in various locations around the world, the potential for terrorist attacks, demonstrations or violent actions against U.S. citizens and interests, the Department of State advises U.S. citizens overseas to exercise increased caution.”

It also expressed concern for Americans who are overseas to "stay alert in locations frequented by tourists."

I will be honest, I would even say that concern should be raised at large events here in the United States.

I still cannot believe the report I read earlier about a Department of Homeland Security staffer who vetted migrants being a former member of the PLO and openly rooting for the demise of Israel.

Her posts were literally pro-terrorist, and she was working in one of the most sensitive and critical areas of immigration.

This administration has now had two people put on leave and one who quit who were all clearly anti-Israel.

I am just wondering how our vetting for these personnel missed what appear to be very clear signals that the United States and its allies were not the top priority for these people.

I was just talking to my brother today about precautions to take, as we both have travel slated soon and yes, I am very concerned about being in an airplane right now.

I firmly believe that Biden’s loose immigration policies have allowed hundreds, if not thousands of possible terrorists into this country. That is not fear-mongering, either, just the reality of more than 1.7 million gotaways slipping through the cracks.

Be alert… I don’t care where you are, be alert.
