State Department Adopts ‘One Flag’ Policy

The era of activist flags flying at embassies and outposts is over.

The Trump administration has issued a new “one flag” policy at all State Department buildings.

The only flag that is now approved to fly is the American flag… end of discussion.

Listen, I love flying the Texas flag, but if we allow state flags and other flags to fly, you are opening the door to activist flags.

So, the Trump administration will only allow one flag to fly, Old Glory, and that is it.

The memo that went out breaking down the new policy stated, "Starting immediately, only the United States of America flag is authorized to be flown or displayed at U.S. facilities, both domestic and abroad, and featured in U.S. government content.

"The flag of the United States of America united all Americans under the universal principles of justice, liberty, and democracy. These values, which are the bedrock of our great country, are shared by all American citizens, past and present."

We have seen pride flags and BLM flags, among others, flying in government buildings during the Biden administration, much to the chagrin of Republicans.

Yet, when a Republican flew a Gadsden flag or some other conservative political flag, Democrats lost their minds.

So, ban them all and only allow the United States flag to fly in government buildings… it is an easy fix.

Former Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) was the first Trump nominee confirmed, so he has already taken his post as Secretary of State, and this new order will fall under his purview.

Rubio has already reportedly sent a wire to staffers to inform them of the new policies, including ending DEI programs that had been previously promoted by the State Department.

He further stated that ideology needs to be removed, and the State Department will get back to doing its diplomatic work based on the interests of the country, not a specific ideology, as we saw under the Biden administration.

Expect a lot of liberal tears over the next few weeks because, for them, it is going to get far worse before it gets better.
